Effortless Chili Beef Brussels (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main components

01 - 1 pound (450 grams) brussels sprouts, thinly chopped
02 - 1/3 cup (35 grams) sliced green onions
03 - 450 grams lean beef, ground

→ Seasonings and sauces

04 - 1 tablespoon avocado oil
05 - 2 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
06 - Freshly ground black pepper, add as much as you like
07 - 1 teaspoon sriracha, only if you want it spicy
08 - 1/2 cup (120 milliliters) sweet chili sauce
09 - Sesame seeds for topping (totally up to you)
10 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
11 - Kosher salt, adjust for taste
12 - Juice from half a lime

# Instructions:

01 - Right before serving, toss on some sesame seeds. Dig in while it's hot, maybe pile it over some rice or whatever grain you want.
02 - Toss the beef you cooked back into the pan. Pour in that sweet chili sauce and squeeze over the lime. Stir until it’s all glossy and warmed through.
03 - Pour avocado oil into the pan you just used. Dump in those shaved brussels sprouts, hit 'em with salt and pepper, then keep stirring until they're golden and soft—about 5 to 7 minutes.
04 - Grab a big pan, toss in your ground beef, and start breaking it up on medium heat. Next, add the green onions, salt, pepper, garlic powder, sriracha, and soy sauce. Stir till the meat’s nice and browned, then scoop it onto a plate.

# Notes:

01 - For maximum flavor, let your brussels sprouts get extra brown and caramelized before mixing in the beef.
