01 -
Toss the ground beef into a Dutch oven or large pot. Without stirring much, let it cook over medium heat for about 5–6 minutes until it starts browning evenly.
02 -
Throw in the diced onion and combine while breaking up any beef chunks. Keep cooking for another 5 minutes. If there’s extra grease in the pot, you can scoop it out, but leaving it is fine too.
03 -
Toss the garlic, orzo, red pepper, and Italian seasoning into the pot. Stir everything together and let it cook for about a minute to bring out the flavors.
04 -
Mix in the tomato sauce, cream, Worcestershire sauce, and beef broth. Once the pot starts bubbling, stir regularly as it simmers uncovered for 10 minutes, making sure the orzo doesn’t stick. Keep it on medium or medium-low heat for a gentle simmer.
05 -
After pulling the pot off the heat, gently stir in the spinach and parmesan cheese. Cover the pot and let it sit for 3–5 minutes so the mixture thickens. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to finish before serving.
