Brownie Pizza Treat (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Brownie Base

01 - 1 package (18-ounce) brownie mix (with ingredients needed for preparation, usually eggs, water, and oil)
02 - Nonstick spray or parchment sheet

→ Cream Cheese Layer

03 - 8 ounces of softened cream cheese
04 - ½ cup of powdered sugar
05 - 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

→ Fruit Toppings

06 - A mix of fresh fruits like grapes, kiwi, raspberries, blueberries, and strawberries (rinsed and sliced)
07 - Melted apricot jelly or other fruit glaze (optional)
08 - Fresh mint for decoration (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to the temperature on the brownie mix box. Follow the instructions on the box to mix the brownie batter. Use a baking sheet or pizza pan lined with parchment or sprayed with nonstick spray, and spread the batter out evenly into a round or rectangle shape.
02 - Put the brownie batter in the oven and bake as directed on the mix, usually between 20-25 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into the middle comes out clean. When done, transfer it to a cooling rack and let it cool fully.
03 - In a bowl, whip the cream cheese until it’s soft and creamy. Gradually mix in powdered sugar and vanilla extract, beating until everything’s smooth and fluffy. Put aside for later.
04 - Make sure the brownie base is completely cooled. Use the cream cheese frosting to evenly coat the top, leaving a little gap around the edges if you like.
05 - Place the fresh fruit slices all over the frosting, laying them out in a way that looks pretty and covers the surface.
06 - If you like, lightly brush the melted jelly or glaze over the fruit to give it shine and keep it fresh.
07 - Pop the dessert in the fridge for at least an hour so the frosting firms up and the flavors come together. Before serving, add mint leaves if you want. Slice into portions and serve cold.

# Notes:

01 - You can stick with a store mix, or go with your own brownie recipe for the base.
02 - Switch up the fruit and patterns to make a colorful, eye-catching treat.
03 - Want something lighter than cream cheese frosting? Try Greek yogurt or even whipped cream!
