Set the oven to 350°F (175°C). Coat a 9- or 10-inch round dish lightly with grease. A deep pie dish works great too.

Stir together steel cut oats, chopped pecans, chai spice blend, salt, maple syrup, and raisins in a big bowl.

Add the milk, cream, vanilla, and butter to the bowl of dry mix. Stir until everything is combined smoothly.

Transfer the mixture into your greased baking dish. Make sure the top is evened out.

Mix cinnamon and sugar in a small bowl, and then evenly scatter it over the mixture in the baking dish.

Pop it in the middle of the oven and bake for about 55-60 minutes, or until the upper crust looks golden and crunchy.

Take it out, scoop into bowls, and pair it with toppings you like – maybe milk, maple syrup, cream, or fresh fruit.
