01 -
Set your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan that's 9×5 inches, use cooking spray, or line with parchment paper so the bread won't stick.
02 -
Grab a big bowl and whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and granulated sugar. Stir it well to spread everything around evenly.
03 -
In another bowl, combine the buttermilk, melted butter, vanilla, and eggs. Stir the mixture until it's smooth and everything blends nicely.
04 -
Slowly mix the wet stuff into the bowl with the dry stuff. Stir carefully with a spatula or spoon until the batter barely comes together—don't overdo it!
05 -
Take a small bowl and combine the brown sugar with the cinnamon to create a sweet, spiced mixture for layering.
06 -
Pour half the batter into your loaf pan. Cover that layer with half the cinnamon-sugar. Add the rest of the batter, sprinkle on the rest of the cinnamon-sugar, and gently swirl with a knife to get a marbled look.
07 -
Put the bread in the oven and bake for 50–60 minutes. Use a toothpick to check—when it comes out clean, the loaf is done. If it's still sticky, bake a little longer.
08 -
Leave the bread in the pan for about 10 minutes after baking. Then, move it to a wire rack to let it cool all the way.
09 -
Brush melted butter over the warm loaf. Mix cinnamon and sugar in a bowl, then sprinkle the mixture across the top so it sticks to the butter.
10 -
Slice the loaf into pieces that are nice and thick, then serve. It's perfect for breakfast, dessert, or just as a snack.
