Crispy Potato Chaffle (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
02 - 4 cups thawed hash browns (grated, chilled or frozen)
03 - 1/4 cup shredded cheese

# Instructions:

01 - Turn your waffle maker on and set it to medium-high if it has temperature options. This gives a crunchier result.
02 - In a big bowl, combine your hash browns, shredded cheese, and seasoned salt. Toss it well so everything is mixed up evenly.
03 - Coat the waffle iron lightly with cooking spray or apply some oil using a brush. This keeps things from sticking.
04 - Scoop about a cup of your hash brown mix onto the waffle maker. Close the lid all the way, and let it cook till it's golden and crispy. It's normal to see some steam as it cooks.
05 - For the best crunch, serve them straight out of the waffle maker. If there's a delay, let them cool on a rack so they stay nice and crisp.

# Notes:

01 - Expect some steam while it's cooking. That's perfectly fine.
02 - To keep them crunchy if you're not eating them right away, place them on a cooling rack instead of a plate.
