Fried Feta Chili Honey (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Phyllo Snacks

01 - 1/4 cup butter, melted
02 - 8 oz feta, sliced into small logs
03 - 1 pack phyllo dough, defrosted

→ Spicy Honey Glaze

04 - 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
05 - 1/2 cup honey
06 - 1 tbsp chili flakes

→ Optional Finish

07 - Chopped fresh parsley

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 375°F (190°C) and place parchment paper on a baking tray.
02 - On a clean counter, spread one phyllo sheet and cover lightly in butter. Stack a second sheet on top, adding more butter. Keep going until you’ve got four layers total.
03 - Take the stacked phyllo and cut it into strips around 3 inches wide. Put a feta piece at one end of each strip.
04 - Fold the edges of the phyllo around the feta and roll it up. Seal the edge and lay it seam-side down on the lined tray.
05 - Spread the leftover butter on the outside of the phyllo rolls. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until the outside turns golden and crunchy.
06 - With the rolls baking, warm some honey in a pan over a low flame. Stir in the chili flakes and vinegar until well blended.
07 - After baking, drizzle the phyllo rolls with the spicy honey mixture. Toss on parsley for some extra flavor, if you like. Dig in while warm!

# Notes:

01 - For added crunch, sprinkle sesame seeds or poppy seeds before baking.
02 - Swap chili flakes for smoked paprika if you want a softer heat.
03 - Blend cream cheese with feta for a smoother filling.
