Fun Jello Pinwheels (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main ingredients

01 - 1½ cups tiny marshmallows
02 - 3 ounces flavored Jello (pick your favorite like orange, lime, or raspberry)
03 - ½ cup hot water

# Instructions:

01 - Spray an 8x8 pan lightly with nonstick spray. Use your fingers to spread it evenly across the whole surface. Don’t overdo it, or the jello might turn out greasy!
02 - Grab a medium, microwave-safe bowl. Pour in the boiling water and add the Jello mix. Stir until there’s no grainy texture left, and it’s dissolved completely.
03 - Toss the mini marshmallows into the gelatin mixture. Stir well to coat them all in the liquid.
04 - Microwave the bowl for 30 seconds on high. Then, whisk energetically until the marshmallows disappear into the gelatin, leaving a fluffy, light mixture.
05 - Pour the bubbly marshmallow-gelatin mixture into your prepared pan. Smooth it out so it covers the pan evenly. Pop the pan in the fridge for about an hour, or until it sets firm.
06 - Once firm, gently slide a butter knife along the edges to free the gelatin. Peel up a corner and carefully pull the whole sheet from the pan. Lay it marshmallow-side up on a piece of parchment paper that’s slightly bigger than the sheet.
07 - Start rolling the jello from one side until you’ve made a tight spiral log. Place it seam-side down so the roll stays put.
08 - With a sharp knife, slice the roll into about 12 pieces, each around half an inch thick. Clean the knife as you go for smooth, neat pinwheels. Serve them up on a platter and enjoy their bright, fun look!

# Notes:

01 - Store these fun treats in a sealed container in your fridge for up to three days.
02 - Want two-toned rolls? Use two colors of Jello! Pour one, let it partially set (15 minutes or so), then add the second on top.
03 - To keep the jello from sticking to your knife, dip the blade in hot water and wipe it off after each cut.
