Use your rice cooker and follow its instructions to cook the rice properly.

Stir together miso, sake, mirin, sugar, and make sure the mix is smooth.

While the rice is still warm, split it into six portions. Use cling film to help shape each portion into a triangle.

Warm your pan over medium and melt butter. Cook each rice ball for 1 minute per side, then coat with miso blend. Keep grilling until golden and crispy. Add sesame seeds and chives for extra flavor.

In a hot pan with oil over medium heat, grill rice balls for a minute on each side. Brush soy sauce generously as you flip them multiple times. Add butter on top and sprinkle with bagel seasoning before serving.
