Grab a big bowl and combine the melted butter with the hash browns. Press it into a greased 9-inch springform pan, covering the bottom and sides. Bake for 20 minutes until it turns crispy and golden.

Whisk the eggs, heavy cream, salt, and pepper in a bowl until it's smooth and creamy.

Let the crust cool a bit, then scatter shredded cheese over it. Add the bacon or sausage if you're using it. Pour the egg mixture on top and sprinkle the green onions evenly.
