Hash Brown Easter Quiche (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Crust

01 - 1/4 cup melted unsalted butter
02 - 4 cups thawed hash browns

→ Filling

03 - 1/4 cup chopped green onions
04 - Salt and pepper to taste
05 - 1 cup shredded cheese (use cheddar or a mix)
06 - 1 cup heavy cream
07 - Optional: 1/2 cup cooked, crumbled sausage or bacon
08 - 8 large eggs

→ Garnish

09 - Chopped fresh herbs like parsley or chives

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 425°F (220°C) and let it heat up while you prepare.
02 - Grab a big bowl and combine the melted butter with the hash browns. Press it into a greased 9-inch springform pan, covering the bottom and sides. Bake for 20 minutes until it turns crispy and golden.
03 - Whisk the eggs, heavy cream, salt, and pepper in a bowl until it's smooth and creamy.
04 - Let the crust cool a bit, then scatter shredded cheese over it. Add the bacon or sausage if you're using it. Pour the egg mixture on top and sprinkle the green onions evenly.
05 - Put the assembled quiche back in the oven. Let it bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the center is firm and the top is golden.
06 - Let the quiche rest a few minutes, then carefully remove the springform pan sides. Sprinkle with fresh herbs before bringing it to the table while it's warm.

# Notes:

01 - A springform pan makes it easy to take out and keeps it looking great.
