Pears with Berries & Cheese (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Essential Ingredients

01 - 2 tablespoons honey
02 - ½ cup nuts, chopped roughly
03 - 1 tablespoon melted butter
04 - ¼ cup blue cheese, crumbled
05 - Fresh sprigs of thyme for decorating (optional)
06 - ½ cup fresh mixed berries (choose blueberries, raspberries, or blackberries)
07 - 4 pears, ripe, cut in half and cored

# Instructions:

01 - Turn the oven on to 350°F (175°C). Put parchment paper on a baking pan or lightly grease it to stop sticking.
02 - Lay the pears with the cut part up on the baking pan. Spread some melted butter over each one to make them golden and glossy while cooking.
03 - Bake them for about 15-20 minutes. You want them to be soft but still hold together. Take them out and let them cool a little.
04 - Scatter the berries on top of the pears. Then crumble the blue cheese over them—it'll melt a bit from the warmth of the fruit.
05 - Sprinkle the nuts over everything, and pour some honey on top to boost the flavor and crunch.
06 - For a fresh touch, add sprigs of thyme if you'd like. Serve them at room temperature or warm.

# Notes:

01 - Go for goat cheese or plant-based alternatives if blue cheese isn't your thing.
02 - Swap walnuts for seeds like pumpkin or sunflower to skip nuts.
03 - Tastes great with some Greek yogurt, tea, or even a glass of wine.
