Quick Pizza Toasts (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ For the Quick Pizza Sauce

01 - 4 tablespoons of passata
02 - 1 tablespoon of tomato paste
03 - ½ teaspoon of garlic powder
04 - Pinch of Italian seasoning
05 - 1 teaspoon of granulated sweetener

→ For the Pizza Toast

06 - 2 slices (2oz/60g) of whole wheat bread
07 - 50g/2oz of mozzarella cheese, grated or sliced
08 - 1 large vine tomato, sliced thinly
09 - Half a small red onion, sliced
10 - 2 slices of lean ham, sliced up
11 - Salt and black pepper
12 - Splash of balsamic vinegar
13 - Spray oil
14 - Freshly chopped Italian parsley or basil

# Instructions:

01 - Combine the passata, tomato paste, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and granulated sweetener in a bowl. Mix well and set aside.
02 - Preheat the oven to 180°C fan, 200°C, 400°F, or gas mark 6.
03 - Lightly toast the bread slices. Spray a baking tray with low-calorie spray and place the toasted bread on it.
04 - Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the toasted bread. Add slivers of red onion and sliced ham. Top with mozzarella cheese and tomato slices. Drizzle with a splash of balsamic vinegar and season with salt and black pepper.
05 - Bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese has melted and the toast is crisp and golden.
06 - Sprinkle with freshly chopped Italian parsley or basil. Serve immediately and enjoy!

# Notes:

01 - Customize the toppings to your liking. Try adding olives, mushrooms, or bell peppers for extra flavor.
02 - For a vegetarian version, omit the ham and add more veggies like spinach or artichokes.
