Smothered Chicken Jack (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - Skinless, boneless chicken breasts
02 - Garlic cloves, fresh
03 - Grated jack cheese
04 - Heavy whipping cream
05 - Butter (unsalted)
06 - Chicken broth, reduced sodium
07 - Ground paprika
08 - Pepper
09 - Table salt

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 375°F (190°C) and give a baking dish a light coat of cooking spray.
02 - Heat butter on medium in a big skillet. Cook the chicken until both sides are toasty, about 5-6 minutes per side.
03 - Toss minced garlic and paprika into the skillet. Give it about a minute, just until it smells great.
04 - Pour in the broth and cream, stirring and scraping up the browned pieces while it gently simmers.
05 - Add shredded jack cheese on top of each piece of chicken, then pop into the oven. Bake without a cover for 20-25 minutes until it’s gooey and golden.
06 - Once baked, give the chicken around 5 minutes to sit. The flavors will develop better this way.

# Notes:

01 - Don’t overcook the chicken—resting it before serving keeps it juicy.
