Pineapple Spinach Drink (Print Version)

02 - 3 to 4 cups of fresh spinach leaves
03 - 4 to 5 ice cubes
04 - 1 cup of water, filtered
05 - 2 tablespoons of flax or chia seeds
06 - 1 cup of pineapple pieces, freshly cut
07 - 1 tablespoon of freshly squeezed lime juice

# Instructions:

01 - Using a high-power blender (like a Vitamix), toss in all the ingredients and start blending slowly. Gradually turn the power to high. Keep it running until everything is super smooth, which should only take about 45 to 60 seconds.

# Notes:

01 - It's best to enjoy green smoothies right after making them. However, if you're saving some, store it in an airtight glass jar filled to the top to cut back on air exposure. It’ll stay good in the fridge for up to 12 hours.
02 - The measurements are flexible! Adjust to your taste. Swap out water for almond or coconut milk, or use Greek yogurt for a creamier texture and more protein.
03 - Boost the protein by tossing in peanut butter, almond butter, or a scoop of vanilla protein powder if you’d like.
