Striped Bass Herb Butter (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Striped Bass

01 - 2 to 3 lbs of striped bass fillet
02 - Season with salt and pepper as you like

→ Herb Butter

03 - 1/2 cup margarine or butter
04 - 2 tablespoons of fresh chopped parsley
05 - 2 tablespoons of minced basil leaves
06 - 1 tablespoon of finely chopped thyme
07 - A pinch of ground black pepper (1/4 tsp)

# Instructions:

01 - Mix together the butter, black pepper, thyme, basil, and parsley until combined. This will make a little under a cup, about 3/4 cup.
02 - Rub the striped bass fillet with however much salt and pepper you prefer. Lightly oil the grill and preheat to medium. Lay the fish on the grill, then spoon some of the butter mixture on top. Use either foil or close the lid of the grill. Cook it for 10 to 15 minutes for every inch thick the fish is until flaky and done. Don’t forget to baste it while it cooks with the leftover herb butter, and pour some over when plating to serve.
