Grab a bowl and whisk the milk, the melted butter, sugar, and vanilla all together till the mix looks smooth and blended.

Now add the baking powder and flour to your wet mix. Stir away till you can’t see any more dry spots and the batter looks good and even.

Scoop the batter into a big mug that’s safe for the microwave, but only fill it halfway or you’ll have a mess when it cooks.

Pop the mug in the microwave and cook it on high for about 1 or 2 minutes. The cake should puff up and the top shouldn’t look wet any more.

In a little bowl, mix together your powdered sugar, some milk, and just a bit of vanilla until you have a nice runny icing.

Pour that glaze right over the steaming mug cake and you’re good to go.
