05 - Vanilla frosting (1 cup)
06 - A couple drops of red food dye

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven temperature to 350°F.
02 - Cover a baking sheet with parchment paper to make cleanup easier.
03 - Combine eggs, oil, and cake mix in a mixing bowl. Stir until it turns into a smooth dough.
04 - Scoop bits of dough onto your prepared sheet using a cookie scoop.
05 - Sprinkle some decorations on top, then gently press down to stick them on.
06 - Pop the cookies into the oven for around 10 minutes. Let them sit for a bit after baking, then move to a rack to cool fully.
07 - Take your frosting, stir in the food coloring, and mix till it's a pretty pink shade.
08 - Scoop the frosting into a piping bag and trim the tip.
09 - Pipe your frosting onto the center of one cookie, then sandwich it with another. Lightly press to combine.

# Notes:

01 - Wait until the cookies are fully cooled before adding the frosting so it doesn’t melt off.
02 - Switch up the food dye to fit your festive colors for Easter or other occasions.
03 - Store your finished cookies in a sealed container for up to three days.
