Banana Bread Chocolate Chip (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 3–4 medium bananas (about 380g), mashed until smooth
02 - 100g white sugar
03 - 100g packed brown sugar
04 - 110g melted unsalted butter
05 - Two large eggs
06 - 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
07 - 130g plain Greek yogurt (or substitute with sour cream)
08 - 180g plain flour or gluten-free baking flour blend
09 - 1 teaspoon of baking soda
10 - Half a teaspoon of salt
11 - 140g mini chocolate chips, plus some extra for garnish

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 325°F (162°C) and prepare a 9×5 inch pan, lining it with parchment and greasing it well.
02 - Grab a bowl and stir together the baking soda, flour, and salt, then set aside.
03 - In another bowl, combine the sugars and melted butter. Mix until it starts to look thick and smooth. A whisk or a mixer with a paddle attachment works well.
04 - Stir in the mashed bananas, vanilla, yogurt, and eggs. Mix everything until silky.
05 - Gently mix the dry ingredients into the wet bowl until just combined. Stir in the chocolate chips, but don't overdo the mixing.
06 - Pour your batter into the prepped loaf pan and smooth out the top. Scatter extra chocolate chips on top for a finishing touch, if you'd like.
07 - Pop it in the oven for 60–75 minutes. It's done when a toothpick stuck in the middle has just a few sticky crumbs. Let it cool in the pan completely before pulling it out. Store it airtight at room temp.

# Notes:

01 - To make it gluten-free, swap in a gluten-free flour blend and toss in chocolate chips.
