Balsamic Honey Roasted Pears (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 4 teaspoons runny honey, more if you want
02 - 3 tablespoons good balsamic vinegar
03 - 2 teaspoons plain butter
04 - 2 big pears, a bit firm, cut in half and cored, peels left on

# Instructions:

01 - Switch your oven to 200°C and let it heat up.
02 - Chop pears in half, dig out the core—leave the peels on.
03 - Drop butter into a heavy oven-safe skillet and melt over medium heat.
04 - Arrange pears cut side down and let them cook for about 2 minutes.
05 - Move the whole pan into the hot oven and roast the pears for 20 minutes.
06 - Flip pears over, pour balsamic vinegar across, bake 5 more minutes.
07 - Take the pan out and give each pear a good honey drizzle. Let them chill a bit before you eat.
08 - Dish up the pears while they're warm. Spoon on those yummy juices and a little more honey if you want.

# Notes:

01 - If you grab pears that aren’t super ripe, they’ll hold together better after baking.
