Cucumber Mint Mocktail (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 small ginger root, about 2 inches long
02 - 10 to 12 fresh mint leaves, roughly 1/4 cup
03 - 2 cups of clean drinking water
04 - 1 big cucumber (English variety), cut into slices
05 - 2.5 limes (around 1/2 cup freshly squeezed juice)
06 - 2 tablespoons of agave; honey or maple syrup also works

# Instructions:

01 - Put ginger, cucumber, mint, water, and agave into a blender. Blend together until the mix is nice and smooth.
02 - Strain the mixture using a fine-mesh sieve to separate out the juice, leaving behind any solids. Keep the juice aside for the next step.
03 - Grab a glass and load it up with some ice cubes. Add cucumber slices, pour the green juice over the ice, leaving around an inch at the top. Finish by adding a splash of club soda, pop in some mint for garnish, and enjoy immediately.

01 - To make everything blend properly, go for a powerful blender.
02 - A fine-mesh strainer works great for removing pulp, or you can use a cheese cloth as an option.
