Preheat oven to 400°F. Grease a 9x13-inch sheet pan.

Slice Hawaiian rolls in half and place the bottom slab in the pan.

Mix shredded chicken with BBQ sauce until saucy.

Layer half the cheese onto the rolls, followed by the BBQ chicken, onion, and cilantro. Add remaining cheese and top slab of rolls.

Melt garlic-herb butter and pour it over the rolls, spreading evenly. Sprinkle Parmesan on top if desired.

Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 3-6 minutes until golden brown.

Remove from oven and serve immediately.
