Maple Dates Mascarpone (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 24 pitted Medjool dates
02 - 1/4 cup pecans, chopped into fine pieces
03 - 2 tablespoons dark amber maple syrup
04 - 6 ounces mascarpone cheese

# Instructions:

01 - Switch on the broiler and position your oven rack close to the top.
02 - Cut a lengthwise slit into each date and carefully remove the seed. Add mascarpone cheese into the opening and top with chopped pecans.
03 - Line a baking sheet, lay the stuffed dates on it, and drizzle with maple syrup.
04 - Broil the dates for about 3 minutes, keeping a close eye so they don’t scorch.
05 - Give the dates a few minutes to slightly cool before enjoying them warm or at room temp.
06 - Pop any extra dates into the fridge and eat within 3 days.
