Easy Philly Cheesesteak Sliders (Printer-Friendly Version)

# What You'll Need:

→ For the Sliders

01 - 12 slider rolls (preferably soft, like Hawaiian rolls)
02 - 1 lb thinly sliced ribeye or flank steak (or pre-sliced steak)
03 - 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
04 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
05 - 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
06 - 1 cup provolone cheese, shredded (or a mix of provolone and American cheese)
07 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
08 - ½ teaspoon garlic powder
09 - ¼ teaspoon salt
10 - ¼ teaspoon black pepper
11 - Optional: sautéed bell peppers, mushrooms, or hot peppers

# Let's Cook!:

01 - In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and cook, stirring occasionally, until softened and lightly caramelized, about 5-7 minutes.
02 - Add the thinly sliced steak to the skillet with the onions. Stir to combine and cook until the steak is browned and cooked through, about 3-5 minutes. Add the Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper, stirring to coat the steak and onions. Remove from heat.
03 - Slice the slider rolls in half horizontally, keeping the tops and bottoms intact. Place the bottom halves of the rolls in a greased 9x13-inch baking dish or similar-sized pan.
04 - Evenly distribute the cooked steak and onion mixture over the bottom halves of the rolls. Top with shredded provolone cheese.
05 - Place the top halves of the rolls over the filled bottoms. Brush the tops of the rolls with melted butter and sprinkle with garlic powder.
06 - Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the sliders in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tops of the rolls are golden brown and slightly crispy.
07 - Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and serve warm.

# Cook's Notes:

01 - For extra flavor, add sautéed bell peppers, mushrooms, or hot peppers to the steak and onion mixture.
02 - Use soft slider rolls like Hawaiian rolls for the best texture and flavor.
03 - If you prefer a different cheese, try using sharp cheddar, mozzarella, or a mix of your favorites.
